A new 'do for nighttime

Eureka!.

Hey this may totally explain your insomnia. You can't soffocating yourself that's why you wake up in the middle of the night! :)
I think it's too soon to tell if this was the cause of my insomnia. I did wake up in the middle of the night again last night, and I couldn't go back to sleep until I got up and went to the couch (and hour and a half later). But I'm giving the braids a chance ... even if they don't cure my insomnia, they have still cured my sweaty neck, HA!
[this is good]
I've been sleeping with my hair in braids too!!! It's a lot less damaging that putting it up in a sloppy bun which is what i was doing!

I'm SO ready to cut my hair. . .I think I can do it at any time now, but will probably wait just a few more months until the weather is warmer. Then I'm CHOPPING IT ALL OFF!! It's driving me insane. . .. hats off to you if you can grow it for another 2 years!

This chica is going for the Posh Spice haircut sooner rather than later! :)
Oooh, when you go Posh Spice, I want to see pictures!! Maybe you could cut your hair when you reach your next WW milestone ...
Okay, if it grows another couple of years, you'll be sitting on it, and that's just creepy. Then you'll start looking like Crystal Gayle.
lol! that same thing used to happen to me before i chopped off my hair. for years! i would even make it into a ponytail but always woke up without it! this one ex i had used to tell me all the time how funny he thought it was that he woke up in the middle of the night and my hair was all over his face!
HA! Well, it wouldn't be quite that long in two years ... I think it would be just at my waist. But I don't really think I'll go that long ... I am too impatient!
Yep, I thought about trying a ponytail, but like you say, I just knew it would come out during the night. The braids stay in really well, though ... both mornings so far just a few stray hairs have escaped the braids. :)
I think it's awesome that you're donating your hair. I have a friend up my way that has donated twice now. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, so I thank anyone who has donated hair for a wig. I would personally do this, as well, except my hair grows so slowly it would probably take me ten years to get it to a length they could use!

I used to think my hair grew fast, but now I'm not so sure ... this is taking forever! :)

you should post a picture of yourself in the braids! :)
Hee, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to suggest that. ;)
and of course, it had to be me! :)
Maybe I'll put one on Facebook sometime ... :)
[this is good]
Yes yes! Double braids are the way to go. I had to do that too when my hair was long or else I would wake up with a bird's nest on my head instead of my hair. Too many knots!

I have to confess, I was reading your blog and saw that you donated to Pantene's beautiful lengths campaign and so I decided to do that too! So that's why my hair is short now. :) I was going to blog about it...but then I got busy.

Good for you for donating again! I've also donated twice to Locks of Love, but I read some not great things about them in the New York Times so I figured why not donate to the same place as Guycita??
[this is good]
That's wonderful!!! But I have to clarify that I have not donated yet ... I am still working on growing out my hair. So you beat me to The Big Cut. :) I think you should write a post about it with some before and after pics!
